Watercolor and ink of China, indomitable mediums According to the artist, watercolor is a living material, which cannot be easily tamed and which is sort of magic and chance. If watercolor is his favorite technique, China's ink is his "second love". The artist considers that ink is a kind of watercolor with increased effects, which is why she loves to experience it in his works. Nordic landscapes at the heart of its achievements The Nordic landscapes greatly inspire the painter Izys. The diffuse and subtle lights, the tones of blue and gray, the snowy landscapes, the mountains and the sea are its favorite subjects. His works then seem to illustrate the atmospheric effects of these landscapes. The artist invites us to be one of those bluish horizons, and thus to travel to a dreamlike and singular universe.
