Born in Hyères in May 1969, & nbsp; Florence Levy lives and worked in the south of France. & Nbsp; colors, materials, smells, art and objects of curiosities rocked her childhood ... A seamstress, a father passionate about Art and antiquity (Napoleonic period) and a home at the appearance of an Ali Baba cave, nourished his imagination. His childhood has him a rich and permanent abundance while developing his taste for research and experimentation. His quest for the lifetime takes root in his childhood scented with vacation in a small fisherman's shed in Madrague near Giens or even in Ajaccio. Roots and trips that have led him to develop an opening turned to the world. "I continue and develop my own pictorial tracks by alternating artistic residence and study trips in France and then abroad. These moments of creation rich in sharing and exchanges with apprentice students alternate solitude times in my workshop where like an alchemist, I seek color. The one that will give birth to the form that I deploy to build a puzzle with infinitely multiplied facets. The color is fundamental in my work! It is constructive and I question it as a subject in its own right. Investing in authentic places, contemplating the landscapes that surround me and find myself painting outside free of any space of confinement, on the beach, in nature, bathed by light as a reference material, is also part of My creation process.
