Rita Minichiello

Rita Minichiello is a Vancouver (Canada) based artist whose conceptually driven photography questions the reality of the landscape. Her choices of in-camera filtration and montage editing techniques create landscapes which better describe the visual effect that reality cannot. She began her career photographing street portraits in Montreal using B/W film and printing images in a traditional darkroom and using experimental techniques to create a narrative.
