C-A Halpin
C. A. Halpin was born in Liverpool, where she lived until taking an Expressive Arts (fine art and performance) degree at Brighton Polytechnic. In 1983 she gained a CNAA postgraduate diploma in printmaking whilst still in Brighton. Eventually, she made her way up to London, to the Royal College of Art where she gained an M.A. in Illustration in 1988.
On leaving The RCA she began to work as an animator, designing and directing both commercial and fine art films. This led her to live and work in both France and Spain as well as in London. She returned to London in 1994 to live and work as an artist and currently lives in Hackney East London.
