Mitra Tabrizian

Mitra Tabrizian is an Iranian-British artist and director whose work questions the fractures of the contemporary world. Through cinematic and unadorned photography, she has explored the themes of alienation, exile, and disconnection for several decades. Her works, widely exhibited internationally, are part of the collections of prestigious institutions such as Tate Britain and the Royal Academy, which awarded her the Rose Award for Photography in 2013.
