Fatima Mian

Fatima Mian is a self taught multi-disciplinary Artist based in London, Uk.

Her diverse creative experiences have formed her artistic practise over the years. She arrived at painting through her photography, which she initially chose as a way to immerse herself into various environments and learn to be present in them. She learned how to create abstractions from the environments she was in, which naturally progressed into the realm of painting. Through a lot of creative experimentation with the two mediums and exploring ways to tie them together, along with influences from her background in graphic design, Fatima’s art has evolved into a form of digital art which culminates in her abstract prints.

In 2023 Fatima Mian was awarded a spot as a finalist for the Visual Artist Association Professional Artist Award as well as being Longlisted in the Women United Art Prize. In 2020, she was Shortlisted for the Landscape Photographer of the Year award and was also a finalist in The Independent Photographers 'People' Award, featuring in their Talents of the Year Magazine.
