Thierry Virton declines his creations into various "Collections", each inscribed in the brilliance of the creative moment. His canvases thus mix stylistic inspirations, drawing energy from the inks in the paintings of Zao Wou-Ki, Chu Teh Chun, or Alechinsky, revisiting the Synthetism of Emile Bernard and the Cloisonnism of the Japanese prints of Hiroshige, borrowing the glitter and gilding of Murakami or even the automatic graffiti of Keith Haring.
