Christian Lafosse

Born in 1977, Christian Lafosse lives and works between Lille and Bordeaux. Self-taught, his photographic work is most often part of a long-term approach through the lens of territory. He particularly enjoys social subjects that resonate with his personal, even intimate, experience. Inspired by the format of contemporary documentary, Christian Lafosse aims to provide a singular interpretation of the subjects he addresses. Exhibited in France and Belgium as part of solo and group exhibitions for his documentary approach, his project "Le Rocher aux Hirondelles" earned him the title of Laureate of Openfolio #3 from the Institute for Photography in Lille in 2023.
