Through his daily practice of painting, JL Lacroix has developed a keen sense of colors and materials with a particular taste for abstraction – "an exciting path towards 'interior cleansing', he says with a smile.
Renowned art fairs such as Lille Art Fair and Smart have exhibited his sculptures, represented by the Galerie Maison Dauphine, in Aix-en-Provence (France). Symbolic, they illustrate people as they are, endearing and often funny.
Commissions include creating furniture for the Grand Hotel in Touquet, a ceiling for a private client, "Sniff Mk2" for a London collector, and numerous mail-art for galleries and cities in Australia, Canada, the United States, Europe, and Russia.
Jean-Luc Lacroix studied fine arts and life drawing courses in Paris, and he lives near the capital. The artist has worked on themes inspired by music and gears, visible on several art sites, and explores 3D using collages, steel, wood, resin, and other materials.
This artist is responding to a growing interest, primarily in the UK, Canada, and the United States, and new collectors from Germany, Switzerland, and Denmark have acquired his works.
JL Lacroix has been featured in auctions at the Hotel Drouot in Paris since 2010 and is a member of the Taylor Foundation.
The next auctions take place online at Drouotonline.fr, the next one in May 2026. More information will follow.
