The end of August is upon us, and the annual malise that grips the artworld over the summer is drawing to a close. September and October are always watershed moments for the industry, with auctions, art fairs and major gallery and museum shows opening on a weekly basis. To ease you back into the art calendar, here are a few of our our teams pick of must see exhibits to check out in the week ahead. Be sure to add your own to the events section and we may just feature them in the next post!

Photography Exhbition at The Candid Arts Trust, London. 

Private View Thursday 01 September, 6.30-9pm. 

Show open daily from 12-6pm from the 2nd to the 11th of September.

Futureproof 2011 is the third in a series of exhibitions initiated by Street Level Gallery profiling up-and-coming photographic image-makers from Scotland's Fine Art and dedicated Photography courses. Including two Rise Art artists; Joanna-Lyczko and Dagmar-Vyhnalkova .
