Pioneer of sculpture through direct fusion of earth & glass!
I was born in 1961 and I live and work in Brittany. My story with sculpture began in 1995, during an introductory workshop on clay. I discovered the pleasure of working with material, shaping it, and bringing my first sculptures to life.
Over the years, this passion has continued to grow, fueled by curiosity, experimentation, and the desire to explore new possibilities. In 2011, I decided to take an important step by opening my own studio to fully dedicate myself to sculpture.
In 2013, I began to explore the combination of ceramics and fused glass. An encounter between two materials with very different characteristics, which opened up a vast field of research for me.
In 2017, I had the opportunity to refine my practice with Luca Tripaldi, an Italian sculptor, at the Terra workshop of Nathalie Domingo, in Sèvres, around the theme "When porcelain marries with mineral, plant, and metal."
In 2020, an unexpected discovery marked a new turning point in my work: glass, when melted, begins to foam and create a light and airy mesh, evoking the living. This discovery enriched my universe and opened new perspectives.
Today, I continue to explore, experiment, and push the limits of these materials that I am passionate about.
