Reed Hearne
Reed Hearne is an American artist, photographer and fiction writer. Photography is Reed’s primary tool and he aims to use his imagery to focus on overlooked everyday surroundings. His visuals are colourful and dynamic; some are dominated by pattern, some by geometry, and others by texture. Reed’s collection here at Rise Art is diverse and has much to offer collectors seeking powerful contemporary photographic prints.
The artist specialised in Graphic Design at the University of San Francisco before going on to pursue a postgraduate degree in English Literature. While living in San Francisco, Reed interned at La Mammelle Gallery with renowned art historian Carl Loeffler.
Recently, Reed received an Honorable Mention at both the Tokyo and Moscow International Foto Awards.
