Our collection primarily consists of established Contemporary artists known for creating artwork that possesses both visual allure and art historical significance. Striking the delicate balance between these two aspects can be unexpectedly challenging. At times, artworks may captivate the eye but lack depth, while in other cases, they may convey a profound narrative but lack aesthetic brilliance. However, we truly enjoy it when these two qualities harmoniously converge. Artists like Takashi Murakami have masterfully embraced this fusion for decades, resulting in his status as one of the most influential artists of his era. His work not only appeals to collectors seeking pieces that illuminate a room and create a visual spectacle but also resonates with those aiming to build a noteworthy family collection featuring blue-chip artists. This broad appeal has consistently driven the increasing value of his artwork over time. Likewise, artists such as Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, and Jeff Koons within our collection have also achieved remarkable success. Their ability to produce visually stunning and conceptually meaningful works explains why their names are highly coveted and represent prime investment opportunities for serious art collectors. Established in 2008, Kumi Contemporary connects some of the most established artists and galleries in Japan. With exhibitions across the globe, from New York to LA, London and beyond, Kumi Contemporary champions Japanese art, supporting its transcendence from once private spaces in Japan into the rest of the world.

"Time lasts a long time and life surely more than a million years. And always in summer," sang Nino Ferrer in 1975. These words still ring true today as they convey the charm and welcoming ambiance that emanates from the South of France. Our artists, whether they have settled there or have only been there for a short time, marvelously illustrate the known and unknown treasures of this European paradise. This week, we're feeling a bit sentimental and proud as we present a selection of works celebrating the beauty of Southern France, through those who paint, draw and live it.

Springing forth from the Dark Ages and bursting onto the scene in its intellectual glory, the Renaissance spanned from the 14th to the 16th Century and is defined as the “rebirth” of art and culture. Spreading across Western Europe, it gave a platform to great Masters such as Michelangelo, Botticelli, Caravaggio and Artemisia Gentileschi. In this collection, our artists revisit masterpieces by prolific figures of the Renaissance. Though some works are more abstract or distinctly Renaissance-like than others, the modern touch brought to centuries-old subjects and styles is the Renaissance redefined in its own right.
