Jill Barthorpe is an English artist based in the idyllic countryside region of Lincolnshire. This constant source of rustic stimulation helps inform Jill’s practice. She creates floral still lifes and lovely snapshots of country living.

Having graduated from the Slade School of Art in London, the artist went on to win a European scholarship to continue her practice, painting in the South West of France.

Over the past 25 years Jill has exhibited extensively both in the UK and the US. The artist’s paintings have been selected for ‘Critics Choice’ exhibitions and have been included in Christie’s contemporary art sales. Jill’s work is now housed in several important corporate and private collections.
