BRUNEAU

Bruneau was born in 1972 in Brest, after spending more than 15 years abroad (Côte d'Ivoire, Morocco, Spain), he settled in France, in Lyon, to train in graphics and illustration . He has been painted since 1993, and is as well influenced by contemporaries of the Chinese school, as starts from artists from street art and illustrators like Enki Bilal. He would describe his paintings abstract as a pareidolies or the art of seeing faces or forms known in a landscape. He works in the accident, without having defined the final image in advance. The voids and full of its compositions, which often pierce light, can recall the many cloudy changes in the sky that he likes to observe. If he does not give names to his paintings, it is precisely not to influence the look and give free rein to imagination and reverie. From his work, he seeks to move the canvas and make it alive such as palpable emotions.
