Ange Mullen-Bryan (b.1978) is a painter living and working near Stroud in Gloucestershire. Ange graduated with a degree in Fine Art Painting from Winchester School of Art in 2000. Ange has pursued her practice in painting ever since, her work explores our connection with the natural world, and she takes as her muse the landscapes of her beloved Sweden. A place she has spent much time over the last 25 years. Ange exhibits regularly across the UK and has work in private collections all over the world. Her work has been showcased by interior designers such as the renowned Studio Ashby and in 2020 Ange had a solo exhibition at Blue shop cottage In London. In 2022 Ange had two paintings selected for the Royal academy summer exhibition in London. In 2008 she was longlisted for the prestigious Liverpool John Moores Painting prize and in 2015 shortlisted for the National Open Art Prize and took part in the finalist’s exhibition at the Royal College of Art, London. In 2011 and in 2015 Ange had paintings selected to hang in the Royal West of England Academy Autumn Open competition in Bristol.
