Andrzej Szymczyk

Andrzej was born in 1988 in Krakow where he grew up. Graduated with an MA degree in Fine Arts in the faculty of Sculpture from The Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 2012. Also studied at The Newcastle University at the department of the Fine Art in 2010-2011. Moved to London in Dec 2012. Since June 2013 member of the Bow Arts Trust. Exhibited in Poland, Germany and UK.

He practiced Judo since I was 7 and have competed at high international levels. The discipline has a significant impact on
every aspect of his personality. The mindset of judo is also the way in which he approaches his life. For him it means dealing with problems and tasks in resourceful manners and never settling for anything less than the absolute best. In terms of his sculpture, he requires himself to be perfect at every stage along the way to completing a finished piece. These highest standards of perfection are what he strives to live by and are what guides him in his art.
