Isabelle Becker began her artistic journey at the School of Fine Arts in Toulon, where she immersed herself in materials like clay, modeling wax, and bronze. A pivotal moment occurred when a spilled coffee stain sparked her creative process, freeing her from the constraints of traditional subjects and sparking imaginative drawings. Evolving to larger formats, Becker's work features expressive faces and characters, exploring her fascination with the human figure and integrating gestural abstraction with figurative graphic expression in India ink. Her terracotta sculptures, molded using a raw "fil" technique, capture nuanced body postures and expressions, while her bronze sculptures, crafted through the lost wax method at Venturi Foundry in Italy, are celebrated for their emotive power and craftsmanship.
