Damola Ayegbayo

Damola Ayegbayo is an Expressionist Artist with a demonstrated history of working in the arts and crafts industry. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Education in Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts where he specialised in painting. His works convey the power of the beauty of black African women, the reality of life and morals through colour and black beautiful women's faces. His painting has been exhibited nationally and in England, his works have been acquired by many private collectors in Canada, Australia, England, London, Norway, Washington, Lagos, and others. In Addition, His art has been featured in both national and international publications. Damola’s concept of using a black woman covered with coloured faces illustrates how his strong mother trained and brought him up with love and morals, helping him to discover his true identity.
