This month, Kelvin Okafor has been the subject of an episode of the BBC series Extraordinary Portraits and achieved a record auction result at Bonhams. His 2015 drawing Jasmine's Interlude is part of a series that seeks, in his own words, to capture "the quiet essence of inner peace and stillness that radiates from the subjects."
