Tom Waugh creates hyperrealistic sculptures of waste and rubbish carved from stone and marble off-cuts.
In 2018, Tom won Best Sculptor Prize and People’s Choice award at the Inaugural Rise Art Prize.
Tom's sculptures would suit a collector looking for a piece that's technically excellent and thought-provoking in concept.

Tom Waugh is an accomplished British sculptor who creates hyperrealistic sculptures of waste and rubbish carved from stone and marble off-cuts. Objects are squashed, wrinkled and crushed - yet in his pieces are echoes of the veiled and draped figures of classical statuary. There's a fascinating contrast in Tom's work between the beauty and value of the materials he uses, and the worthless items he represents.

The artist studied Stone Carving at the City and Guilds of London Art School. Tom has been invited to exhibit a selection of these works at the biannual exhibition 'On Form'.
