Tom Heywood

I design and create unique furniture, sculpture and interiors all from my workshop in Penzance, Cornwall.

From a young age I’ve had an interest in creative processes - designing and making three dimensional forms that undergo an extensive thought process. I use a combination of traditional and contemporary woodworking techniques to create unique pieces, the majority of which are sculptural.

My work represents my passion for the natural world and I take a huge amount of inspiration from my surroundings. I work predominantly with wood due to the natural aesthetics of the material, its flexibility and it’s sustainable properties.
