Through painting, Thierry aims to express vulnerability and connection through the depiction of the human form. He is interested in finding the simplicity of human nature – regardless of shape, size, gender – using the body to express this idea.
Thierry graduated from Falmouth University with a First Class degree in illustration. Since then, he has worked on numerous commissions and collaborations – his work was displayed in Chiswick, as part of the Bergman and Maar / Pocket Living Makers Event, promoting craftsmanship and local artisans. In October 2019, his first solo exhibition ‘BODY’ was held in London at Blue Shop Cottage, where he also hosted and taught life drawing workshops. Thierry's work has been featured in online and published articles for Harper’s Bazaar Australia, Vogue, Marie Claire, Grazia, and others.
