Cardiff based Alan Goulbourne's sculptural works use sawn wood constructed to create immersive, physically overwhelming sculptures. The artist will scour construction sites, abandon buildings and ports in search of raw material and inspiration. His work is both representational an abstract, bringing to mind the constructions of nature. His CV boasts many commisions and gallery shows including a recent installation project in the Middle East. We love his work for it's material sensibilities and awesome presence.
