Inspired by landscape, nature and her ‘everyday’, Sue works in bright and colourful layers of fragmented and deconstructed images, which at times straddle the border with representation.
She supplies bespoke commissions and also regularly exhibits in solo and group exhibitions; in particular she recently displayed and sold her work during the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2020.
Additionally, she has exhibited and been a resident artist in both Westminster Cathedral and St Paul’s Cathedral (2001-2004) and has work held in several public and private collections including Norman Foster & Partners, The British Society of Haematology and St Paul’s Cathedral.
She writes poetry and works as a community artist providing therapeutic art workshops for all ages. Her planned solo exhibition at Pictorem Gallery, London, that was scheduled for May 2021 is being rearranged owing to the current restrictions.
