Gabrielle Mutti
Gabrielle Mutti /Artist
Nationality: Swiss, Austrian, Lives in Zug, Switzerland
Gabrielle Mutti made her first attempts to paint self-taught after she decided to live her dream. "When I start to paint abstractly," explains the artist, "energy is released, color and form are not decided, chaos is everywhere, then first decisions are made."
The only control is the rough theme, the experience or inspiration of everyday life. "It's a constant repetition and reaction to what I feel around me, the confidence in my intuition, my hands and my taste," explains Gabrielle.
Apply, scrape, paint over, glue, blow dry, form, print - that's what she calls absolute artistic freedom. Where chaos was before, everything is now in flux. However, the artist doesn't like to stick to a plan and for a change she also paints portraiture and figures. "Everything can change again...my way - my art"
