Juliette Paredes

Juliette Paredes loves the colors of Pont-Aven in southern Brittany where she has many childhood memories.
She has exhibited in Pont-L'Abbé and Quimper, in Loire Atlantique (La Baule, Oudon, and Ancenis), in Paris, in Cologne, and in Beijing.
Brittany, this mysterious and poetic elsewhere, sometimes peaceful and sometimes more tumultuous, is one of her first sources of inspiration. Mainly using acrylic and a knife, she began by seeking light and clarity by varying the tones with a limited color palette. "A constraint that is not simple but an exciting work."
This region of Brittany, rich in its reliefs and heights, also appears to us in all its colors, often with the rock and sand as a common thread. Juliette Paredes is fascinated by this rocky material, solid and believed to be unchangeable, yet it erodes. Between strength and fragility.
Beyond these landscapes of Brittany but also of Devon or Cornwall in England, poetry is always sought in the works of Juliette Paredes.
In any case, when her canvases take those who look at them into their own imaginations, she is then delighted.
