Henri Lamy
I was born in 1985, in Lyon (France). My father taught me how to draw and paint. I was drawing everyday from an early age, but attended communication, business and later on product design classes. Until I realised none of those motivated me as much as an art career. And I immediately an alternative art space in the center of Paris, called 59 Rivoli (in 2012).

In 2013, I invented a new form of expression called Capoeira Painting, which combines fine arts and brazilian martial danse.

In 2015 me and my wife founded Maison Gutenberg, an art residency that gathered 500 artists and 100 000 visitors, around exhibits, workshops, and concerts.

Since then, I travelled the world and specialised in portraits. I had the pleasure to be commissioned to paint Ky-Mani Marley, Joss Stone, Jimmy Cliff, Jeremy Meeks and many more. My work is now represented by Fitz Contemporary (USA), Altromondo Arte Contemporanea (Philippines), Pinto Art Museum (Philippines and NYC), and Bouillon d'Arts (France).
