      Aldo Cherres

Based in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Peruvian-American artist Aldo Cherres creates contemporary figurative paintings. His works are inspired by our senses and how we perceive and interact with our surroundings and others. Aldo characterises his creations as objective and yet imbued with deeper meaning. There is always more to be discovered than first meets the eye.

      Aldo Cherres' Education and Practice

Aldo received a BFA from Florida Atlantic University (2001). He previously studied Fine Art at Palm Beach Community College in Florida (1999) and Graphic Design at Instituto Toulouse Lautrec in Lima, Peru (1992). Aldo always paints from his imagination, providing him with unconditional artistic freedom. Through his paintings, Aldo interprets both simple and yet complex concepts that question our very existence. For example, how we navigate our daily lives, our decision making and problem-solving processes and how we're able to thrive. Fascinated by the human experience, our roles and relationships with others and with nature, Aldo's figurative works are a deep dive into the human psyche.
