Description
French novelist Georges Perec urged attention to the ordinary—a counterpoint to the spectacle-driven narratives that dominate mass media. He cataloged the overlooked: the crumbs on a table, the drift of a crowd, the subtle gestures that fill a day. His focus on the mundane revealed a quiet depth in moments often dismissed as insignificant.
In Between Moments presents photographic works that share this sensibility. The exhibition brings together images shaped by pause, subtlety, and brief passages of experience—scenes where little “happens,” yet everything is present. These photographs invite viewers to slow their gaze and consider the textures of daily life that usually slip by unnoticed. Curated by the Praxis Directors
