Southwark Park Galleries Annual Open 2024
Description
Now in its 40th year, SPG's Annual Open will take place both online and in the Lake Gallery - delighted that “# 23” from my “Ghost within me” series will be part of the 2024 exhibition.
The Annual Open exists to encourage artists at all stages of their career from across the UK to submit their work as part of a large-scale annual salon show. Since the gallery opened in 1984, the Annual Open has been a highlight of SPG's calendar.
The exhibition showcases the diverse practices of artists working today, with over 300 works in drawing, painting, photography, print, mixed media, sculpture and video. From its inception, the ethos of the Annual Open has always been about accessible participation for all; to this day there is no selection criteria.
