Esteemed street artist Marc Craig is heading to Leake Street this weekend to create another of his amazing murals. We're sending one of our videographers down to capture his creation, so keep your eyes peeled for the release of our timelapse video next week... We'll be heading down on Sunday to bask in the sun and catch the artist in action, join us if you can.

In other amazing news, another of Marc's monochrome works entitled 'The Borders of Sleep' was sold last night in a charity auction supporting homeless youth for Phillips London, alongside works from the likes of Tracey Emin and Martin Creed.

Michelle Loa Kum Cheung has just completed a two week residency in Switzerland. Inspired anew, she's been busy creating some beautiful new landscapes - go and check them out!

 

Pedro Correa @ A | Proof Gallery, Washington DC

Pedro Correa's first solo show - 'Home of Art' - in the US opened this week. The show features a showcase of brand new works from his 'Home of Art' series at A | Proof Gallery in Washington DC. Make sure to check out the show before it ends 30th April - we wish we could!

Painter Helen Brough is taking part in a group show in New York City that opened this week. Her bright and beautiful works are well worth viewing in the flesh, so if you're in the area make sure to pop by and discover some stunning contemporary talent. New York in the spring? Yes please.

 

Louise McNaught @ Curious Duke, London

The team popped over to Curious Duke gallery last night for the private view of Louise McNaught's second solo show in London. It was a treat to see a selection of her most intricate works in the flesh, and to chat to the lovely artist herself.

Revolution: Russian Art 1917 - 1932 @ The Royal Academy of Arts, London

Curator Nat Rubinstein urges all art lovers out there not to miss this incredible show. Richly diverse, honest, and multi-faceted, this cleverly curated show captures a turbulent era of Russian history. Prepare to be moved. The show ends on 17th April, so why not head down over the bank holiday weekend?

 

THE NATIONAL 2017 @ Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Sydney, Australia

This three-part group show featuring over 30 artists has much to offer outside of art, and is sure to be a significant one for the Asia-Pacific region. Currently set to premier three times in the next 5 years, it will be a highlight of the latest ideas and forms in contemporary Australian art, curated across three of Sydney’s premier cultural institutions.
