The Bloomsbury Art Fair is taking place this weekend. Housed in the beautiful Goodenough College in Mecklenburgh Square, the fair gives vistors the chance to browse and purchase affordable and investment pieces, in a relaxed atmosphere. Lasts year's debut fair attracted around 3,000 visitors and raised over £60,000 for charity and this years event looks set to also be a huge success. Benefiting charities from the Bloomsbury Art Fair 2012 are Motivation, the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust and Walking With The Wounded.
The Rise Art team will be down at the fair all weekend and thought we'd bring you a quick sneak peek of this years event.

My Life in Art
We popped by the My Life in Art stand, which was looking great. Make sure to check out the Peter Blake prints that Aaron and Justin have got on display.
Delphine Lebourgeois' work at Gas Gallery
Rise Art also took a little stroll to see what the local area has to offer, here are a few of our suggestions to help you make a day of it.
Feeling peckish? Try Ciao Bella
Head down to Ciao Bella on nearby Lamb's Conduit Street, for fantastic Italian fare with a relaxed and family-run atmosphere. We recommending grabbing a table on the terrace, depending on the weather!
Vats Wine Bar
Alternatively, treat yourself to a glass of wine at Vats Wine Bar, all that art appreciation can be thirsty work.
Persephone Books on Lamb's Conduit St.
Persephone Books is also somewhere we strongly recommend paying at visit. Persephone Books reprints neglected classics by twentieth century (mostly women) writers and it's a great place to pick up a undiscovered gem.
If you're heading down this weekend, make sure you pop by the Rise Art stand and say hello!
