Edouard Souhaid (b. 1994) is a Lebanese artist, curator, and trained architect based between Beirut and Paris. His practice explores abstract painting, architectural research, and cultural production. Through painting, drawing, and sculptural experimentation, his work investigates the invisible structures that surround us, emerging from a reality informed by microorganisms, constellations, aerial maps, and data. He holds a degree from the École Spéciale d’Architecture (ESA) and a Master’s from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de la Villette (ENSA-LV), where his research focused on the intersection of architecture and the social sciences through the study of rhythms, informing the analytical and layered nature of his work. In 2025, Souhaid was appointed co-curator of the Lebanese Pavilion at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, with The Land Remembers. Beyond his artistic practice, Souhaid co-founded Collective for Architecture Lebanon (CAL), which fosters interdisciplinary dialogue across architecture, design, and the humanities in the Arab world. He has shared his research at NEOMA Business School in Paris, the American University of Beirut (AUB), the Musée cantonal de design et d’arts appliqués contemporains (MUDAC) in Lausanne, and the Zaha Hadid Foundation in London. He is represented by Chaos Art Gallery in the Middle East, which exhibited his debut solo exhibitions Micro-Organisms and X-Ray in 2024.
