This exhibition is a poetic journey through landscapes, exploring how nature reflects the human inner world and identity. Inspired by her walks in Luxembourg, her native Lithuania, and her travels abroad, Asta Kulikauskaitė weaves together places, memories, and emotions through a subtle harmony of colors.
By blending traditional and experimental techniques, her work captures the unique iron-rich soils of southern Luxembourg. These landscapes serve as metaphors for universal themes like belonging, the human-nature bond, and the process of rooting oneself in a new environment. The artist invites viewers to reflect on the concept of "home" and how scenery shapes our sense of self.
Asta Kulikauskaitė is a Lithuanian artist based in Luxembourg since 2018. Holding a Master’s in Painting from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, she works at the 1535° Creative Hub in Differdange, exhibits internationally, and leads art workshops in various creative spaces.
