Kaloyan Ivanov

Kaloyan Ivanov est né à Sofia, en Bulgarie, en 1986. En 2009, Kaloyan a obtenu un baccalauréat en beaux-arts en peinture de l'Institut Pratt, à Brooklyn. Kaloyan travaille dans la peinture, la performance et l'installation. En 2019, Kaloyan a reçu la bourse de la Awesome Foundation pour Sofia, Bulgarie. L'artiste a exposé à la Credo Bonum Gallery (Sofia, Bulgarie), à la Arosita Gallery (Sofia, Bulgarie), au Williamsburg Art & Historical Center (Brooklyn, New York), au Czong Institute for Contemporary Art (Gimpo, Corée du Sud), au 3RD Ethos (Brooklyn, New York), à Filo Sofi (Manhattan, New York), à la Climate Gallery (Long Island City, New York), au Port A (Sofia, Bulgarie). La pièce de performance participative de Kaloyan, Void Simulacrum, a été exposée à FIGMENT (Boston, MA), à la Trestle Gallery (Brooklyn, NY), à l'Université York (Toronto, CA), au Water Tower Fest (Sofia, Bulgarie), à AiOP (Greensboro, NC), à FIGMENT (Washington D.C.) et à PS1 (Iowa City, Iowa).
