This exhibition shows a selection of pastels inspired by life as it unfolds between heath and sky, as the titel refers to.
The feeling of being small and ephemeral when surrounded by majestic mountains, deep in a fjord. The human life is put into perspective. Nature shelters us, sustains us and nourishes us. People live close to the elements, the strength and magnificence of untouched nature. In this series of landscape observations, the focus lies on the light and moods in the nature that surrounds us. Moveing away from the place specific to the universal and towards interpretations of experiences and moods. Kristin concerne herfself with the indefinable, what we cannot quite see with the eye, but which our imagination interprets and recognizes.
The project is presented and the exhibition opens April 13. 2025 in Vik in Eidfjord. All are welcome and the artist will be present for the opening.
