NN Contemporary is pleased to present the debut exhibition of Northampton based artist Jonathan Alibone. The painting installation ‘Promise and Ruin’ explores catastrophic vision and global crises. Using anthropological methods, the artist builds fictional landscapes as archaeological reconstructions, and documents, through painting, sites of ruin to visualise dramatic effect.
