  • Enrique Mitjans

Rise Art Prize Judge Enrique Mitjans says:

"Tomás is one of the most gifted talented and meticulous artist when it comes to photography that I have come across lately.
Not only the subject of his works and the media he uses makes him almost unique but also the beauty and mystery that arise from those cityscapes.
Being so young and having been selected already by strict juries for several prizes, I can foretell a promising future for Tomás in the art world.
To anyone collecting or buying or even interested in contemporary upcoming artists, when it comes to photography, his works are to be considered. "

Tomás started experimenting with photography at the age of eight, particularly paying attention to cityscapes and wanting to share what he was seeing; the media chosen became evident
Admiring masters like Lee Friedlander, Cartier Bresson, Robert Frank, he started with analogue photographs in black and white, working steadily in his dark room cropping and retouching.
