  • B52

Two Award-winning commissions for outdoors are sited at King,s Wood Kent.
In B52 , the aggressive power of a B 52 American bomber used with such
devastating effect in many of the wars including the Iraq war, was subverted into
a negative form cut into the forest. The shape allows light and biodiversity into
    the area.

It was made in a part of the forest where there is a monoculture of Coppiced
Sweet Chestnuts, so no actual trees were cut down, just the coppiced stumps.
