About the Art
an environmental artwork made from cutting down the coppiced Sweet Chestnuts to form a negative of the most destructive American Bomber.
It was made at the time of the Iraq War and my aim was to subvert the aggressive power of the aircraft into a negative shape in the forest. The space created breaks up the monoculture of the Sweet Chestnuts allowing light and biodiversity onto the forest floor. ( Stour Valley Arts. King'Wood Challock. Kent UK
