Unexpected Landscape is Reed Hearne’s first solo exhibition. It will feature photographs of scenery discovered in subject matter that is entirely unrelated. The intended result is more often painterly than photorealistic. The famous landscape architect Russell Page wrote, “A discerning eye needs only a hint, and understatement leaves the imagination free to build its own elaborations.”
