Frida Kahlo Edit
curated by Aimee Morris
The V&A Museum has just opened an exhibition showcasing personal artefacts and clothing that belonged to the iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (1907-1954). Frida began painting at age 18 after a bus accident left her bedridden for 3 months in a body cast. Today her self-portraits are famous around the world. She drew on her life’s pains and passions to create bold, vibrant works with a surreal tinge.
