"Richard Walker is known for dramatic, layered and visionary urban observations, accompanied by an interest in formal experimentation and sloganeering. These original silkscreen monoprints on archival paper celebrate Mod subculture’s mythologies and its visual cacophony of glamour, mayhem and gossip. I feel that he has succeeded in depicting an era in all its vibrant immediacy, and that his interpretation of the symbols, music and fashion portrays the unique aesthetic of Swinging London. "
