Michael Lee

from London, United Kingdom

Michael’s photographs may appear at first sight to be computer manipulated, however, they are in fact, generated entirely within the camera. His technique utilises a function for creating composite images of three different exposures. However, instead of keeping the camera in a secured fixed position, he twists the lens, drags the camera and alters focus between and during each exposure. So it's a way of both acknowledging and rejecting the stillness that this function usually demands.
