Adam Butler is a British photographer who was born in 1965 in Edinburgh, although these days he is best known for his London Photography. Nowadays he lives and works in the English capital, where he captures Cityscape Photography that showcase the iconic skyline of London, showing it from diverse angles and all different lights. He also lives partly on the island of Panarea, off Sicily, where he shoots beautiful Mediterranean Seascapes.

Adam Butler’s Artistic Journey

Adam began his studies at the renowned Courtauld Institute of Art in London, where he read history of art. This background knowledge has informed his Photography, teaching him the importance of narrative and composition when framing his shots. Outside of his Cityscape Art, Adam has also worked with Architecture Photography and interiors, working with some of the world’s leading publications such as Elle Décor, AD Italia and Casa Vogue. On top of this, he has completed countless commissions for private and corporate clients, ranging from British Airways to Unilever.

Exhibitions and Collections

Adam’s London Art holds a permanent spot at the Marylebone Gallery, where you can see his iconic panoramic views of the city. He has also exhibited at prestigious galleries such as the Galerie Arnaud Bard in Paris, and regularly exhibits as part of the Other Art Fair.
