About the artist

Kristjana Williams is an Icelandic artist who illustrates exotic flora and fauna. Kristjana creates fantastical creatures by fusing butterflies, tropical birds and exotic plants. We love the artist’s intricate detail work and the effectiveness of her bold colouring. There is a touch of magic to her designs that we find irresistible!

Kristjana studied Design and Illustration at Central Saint Martin’s in London. Her work has soared in popularity over recent years, with commissions for the likes of British designer Paul Smith and Liberty - the well-known department store in London. Kristjana has also created installations for hotels and exhibition centres in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
