Camilla has received numerous awards including the SEE Beyond Award and the Manhattan Arts International Award of Excellence.

Camilla Marie Dahl is a Brooklyn based artist. Through oil painting and bronze sculpture, she explores the human condition in modern day. With two parallel series of work, she investigates the contradictory world of sexuality and expectation from the female perspective, and mankind's cognitive struggle to exist within a strictly ordered, man-made world.

Camilla received her BA from Skidmore College, and her MFA from the New York Academy of Art. She is a recent recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant, and a two-time recipient of the Leslie T. and Francis Posey Foundation Graduate Art Scholarship. In 2019, she was awarded a residency at La Ceiba Grafica in Veracruz, Mexico. She is also a recipient of the SEE Beyond Award, and the Heinz Award for Outstanding Senior Thesis, which was exhibited at the Tang Teaching Museum in 2016.

Camilla’s work is collected internationally. She has exhibited in shows across the US, and her work was auctioned at Sotheby’s New York this past fall.
