About the artist
Bryan Lavelle is a British artist whose work explores the very properties of its medium: paint. His work is pure in its intentions, deprived of contextual layers and hidden meaning. His paintings are self-referential, questioning themselves as artworks.
Bryan has shown his work in numerous group and solo exhibitions, including the ‘Summer Show’ at the Royal Academy. His work is also included in renowned public collections, such as the Madison Museum of Fine Art, Georgia, USA.

The Insider Nat Rubinstein says:
"Bryan’s works are a stunning exploration of the properties of paint and limitations the creative process. He deliberately avoids any narrative in his works, instead they invite a contemplation of the painting as a physical object. His works use bright saturated colours that would bring any space to life!"
