"Jirku's compositions are confidently executed and the colours are uplifting and cheerful. I love the geometric elements which have lately taken the art world by storm. What I find interesting is the influence that fashion, architecture, and graphic design seem to have on her painting. Jirku's practice reminds me of the artwork Tomma Abts and Bruce McLean. The large format paintings make excellent statement pieces."
