About the artist

Yuliya Martynova is a London-based Kazakhstani artist who paints paper planes and floating boats suspended in time. The artist works predominantly in watercolours, creating beautiful abstract pieces that are awash with colour. The paintings have a slightly mystical feel, which we just love. Also, her subject is remarkably unique and you’ll find no other works quite like them!

Yuliya has a background in both art and law. She pursued a legal career before later dedicating herself full-time to her art. She has exhibited her work in many group shows in London, Moscow and Edinburgh. Yuliya and her art are heading for LA and NY art fairs this year.
